On the standard $5/month VPS, AmneziaWG reached approximately 400 Mbps download, while Xray reached approximately 500 Mbps.

On High Performance Intel, AmneziaWG reached approximately 550 Mbps download. Xray delivered approximately 500 Mbps download and 900 Mbps upload.

The charts below show Xray measurements on Vultr High Performance AMD at $6/month. Recorded speeds were roughly 700–800 Mbps download and 500–900 Mbps upload. In separate protocol checks, AmneziaWG reached approximately 150 Mbps download.

Standard WireGuard did not provide internet access out of the box on any of the tested configurations. Correcting the NAT configuration on the AMD instance restored connectivity, but download speeds remained around 150 Mbps.

Performance varied substantially by protocol and server configuration. These results reflect the specific VPS instances tested, rather than a general performance difference between Intel and AMD processors.
